The Nashville Office of Emergency Management (OEM) reminds everyone to stay weather aware Wednesday night ahead of possible severe weather.
The Nashville Office of the National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts high storm chances Wednesday night into Thursday morning with a low severe weather threat.
Primary concerns are damaging winds and heavy rain with low chances of hail and tornadoes.
Lower rain chances will persist on Friday, but a drier weekend is in store with near normal temperatures.
A Heat Warning remains in effect. Expect low rain chances on Friday, and even drier conditions with rain and storm chances less than 5 percent.
